Our Process: How Our Drone Services Work
Booking a drone photography session should feel easy and transparent. That’s why we’ve built a simple, step-by-step process that keeps you informed from first contact to final delivery. Whether you’re planning a wedding in Prince George or a corporate event in Vancouver, here’s exactly how we work.
Step 1: Initial Contact
Reach out by phone, email, or our online form. Tell us a bit about your event—date, location, type of coverage—and we’ll respond quickly to confirm availability.
Step 2: Consult & Custom Quote
We’ll schedule a quick call to discuss your vision, goals, and deliverables. Based on your needs, we send you a clear proposal outlining packages, pricing, and timelines.
Step 3: Secure Your Date
Once you’re ready to move forward, we lock in your shoot date on our calendar. This ensures you’re booked, and we can begin any required flight planning.
Step 4: Agreement & Deposit
You’ll receive a service agreement covering scope, usage rights, and cancellation terms. Sign the agreement and pay the 50% deposit (credit card, e-transfer, or PayPal accepted). Once the deposit is received, your date is fully secured.
Step 5: Pre-Shoot Planning
We’ll send you a short questionnaire to collect key details—schedule, shot list, VIPs, no-fly zones, or special requests. This helps us plan flights, secure NAV CANADA approvals if needed, and make sure we’re capturing exactly what matters.
Step 6: Event Day Coverage
On the big shoot day we arrive early, check weather conditions, and coordinate with your team or event manager to ensure everything runs smoothly. We capture breathtaking aerial footage plus any ground photography you’ve booked.
Step 7: Editing & Post-Production
Your photos/videos are professionally edited, colour corrected, and stabilized. We provide a clear delivery timeline (usually within 7 business days for images; 2–3 weeks for full video projects).
Step 8: Delivery & Remaining Balance
We send a preview or proof gallery if needed. Once the remaining 50% balance is paid, we deliver your high-resolution media via secure download link (or USB drive upon request).
Step 9: Follow-Up & Future Projects
After delivery, we check in to ensure everything meets your expectations. Many clients book us for annual events or refer us to friends, so we offer returning-client priority scheduling.
Payment & Policies
- Accepted Payments: We accept Credit card, e-transfer, PayPal, or business cheque.
- Project Deposit: Before we start, UAV BC requires a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your date.
- Weather/Reschedule Policy: If unsafe flying conditions occur, we work with you to reschedule at no extra charge.
- Licensed & Insured: All flights are conducted by Transport Canada-certified pilots with $5M liability insurance.
